We were told back then that if we read so well even to the point of dying on our books and we come out with good grades we would be given access to study in universities abroad. Those were the things my parents saw and wanted their child to study in Moor Plantation, but in the long run even after graduating with one of the best cumulative graduating point average of my time through God's grace the college came up with a news that the past students who were given the opportunity had soiled the path for us. Please, should every disciples be murdered for the sins of Judas Iscariot? Or should all Nigerians be killed for the sins of the Boko Haram sects? NO!

Affiliation with Mississippi University, Starkville, USAAffiliation with Mississippi University, Starkville, USA The federal college of Animal Health and Production Technology, Ibadan has an affiliation with the Mississippi State University of Starkville United States of America (MSU) for the transfer and training of the college Higher National Diploma (HND) graduates to the Department of Poultry Science, College of Agriculture and Life Science, Mississippi State University for two year programme leading to the award of Bachelor of Science (B.SC) degree. Other benefits include a waiver of tuition fees by paying in-state tuition that is, tuition like citizen of not just the United States, but of Mississippi State. Affiliation with Guilford College, United KingdomWith this affiliation, the best college Higher National Diploma students would be admit table for a one year top up programme leading to the award of Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Behavior and Welfare or Animal Mangement.
Affiliation with Federal College of Chemical and Leather Technology, Zaria, NigeriaThere is a Memorandum of Understanding between the Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology, Ibadan and Federal College of Chemical and Leather Technology, Zaria that promotes a symbiotic relationship between both institution which facilitates staff and student exchange. Also, with the Memorandum of Understanding in view is the development curriculum for hides and skins improvement on a step wise basis with an aim to establishing a Department of hides and skins and leather utilization in the Federal College of Animal Health and Production Technology, Ibadan" - The College of Provost.

Now nothing excites students to read anymore. Most students only that for the sake of direct entry into a university in Nigeria where they need to begin from either 200Level as National Diploma (ND) students or 300Level as Higher National Diploma (HND) students. Infact, those aiming to study Veterinary Medicine begins from 100Level as ND students or 200Level as HND students after using 5 years to acquire their HND certificates. This is RUBBISH.
